Managing Coaches in Your Association Account

Managing coaches in your Association account just received an update in February 2025. Please read below or watch the demo video for tips on managing your association account.


Adding Coaches

Active Coaches

Your list of active coaches shows the coaches that have full access to IHS and linked to your account. Therefore, they have access to your Association Library as well. The number of allowed active coaches depends on the Association Package purchased. If you need to open up space in your active coaches list then you can deactivate coaches to open up space. To do this you can click the “deactivate” button and then click “Confirm”. The coach will then be moved to the list of inactive coaches.

Inactive Coaches

Inactive coaches are coaches that are not active in your association and do not have access to IHS. As long as you have availability in your “Active Coaches” then you can activate these coaches at any time. This might be helpful if you have coaches that only coach during specific times of the year. You can deactivate them in order to make space for another coach, then activate them again later.

Removing Coaches

When you remove a coach they will be completely removed from your association account. Their account is still in the system so if they try to login they will be prompted to renew their membership in order to activate their account. In the future if you want to add the coach back to your association then you will need to send them an invitation by using the “Add Coach” button.
